Poland’s secret service has arrested a man suspected of having spread false information on authorities planning to blow up dykes as the country grapples with the fallout from the severe flooding that has hit Central and Eastern Europe in recent days. The suspect is a 26-year-old from a town near the city of Wrocław, Jacek Dobrzynski, spokesman for the Interior Ministry, said on social the media platform X on Thursday.
