New Delhi [India], September 22 (ANI): Congress leader Subhankar Sarkar was appointed as the new President of the West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee on Saturday with immediate effect. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge ordered the appointment on Saturday night. Sarkar has been relieved of his current position as the secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC).
