Al Jazeera’s offices in the occupied West Bank were raided on Sunday and ordered to close for 45 days, the Qatar-based broadcaster reported. Armed and masked Israeli soldiers entered the Ramallah office and handed the closure order to the network’s West Bank bureau chief Walid al-Omari early on Sunday, Al Jazeera reported.
