An appeal has been launched to raise nearly £4,000 to repair a clock. Residents in Pangbourne are being asked to contribute to the fund, which will replace the drive unit on the timepiece, located on the roof of the village hall, off Station Road. The village hall’s committee said additional work is needed to replace the wooden louvres on the timber tower which houses the clock.
