A car hit a telegraph pole in a crash on a residential street so hard that it snapped in half. Neighbours in South Park Road, Maidstone, have reported hearing a “loud bang” at around 11.30pm yesterday. Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash which involved a silver car. The front of the vehicle was badly damaged and the wooden post was snapped in half.
