The Czech Republic’s right-wing populist opposition ANO party led by former prime minister Andrej Babiš has won a clear victory in regional elections held shortly after severe flooding hit the country, according to official results published on Sunday. ANO emerged in the lead in 10 of the 13 regional parliaments, the CSU statistical authority reported.
