A parade of thousands in traditional southern German costume paraded through Munich on Sunday morning to mark the second day of Oktoberfest, as many lined the streets to take in the sight. The parade included groups of traditional dancers as well as brewery carriages, bands and local politicians. A total of 9,000 people took part in the parade toward the fairgrounds.
