This weekend a ceremony will be held to commemorate the 80th anniversary of one of the second world war’s most defining events. Newark Cemetery will play host to the annual Air Bridge Commemoration Service this Sunday (September 29) in remembrance of the casualties of the 1944 Warsaw Uprising.
