Bayern Munich have opened contract talks with playmaker Jamal Musiala, Sport Bild reported on Wednesday. Head of sport Max Eberl and deputy Christoph Freund recently met with the 21-year-old German star and his agent in a restaurant to discuss his future. Musiala’s contract in Munich runs until 2026. Sport Bild said Musiala was told he is seen as the successor to one-club stalwart Thomas Müller and will be used as a driving force for Bayern’s international marketing.
