A police officer was injured after a flatbed truck reportedly reversed into two vehicles during a chase. The pursuit began on the A2 at Brenley Corner in Faversham at about 10.15am on Monday when a police motorcyclist signalled for the driver to pull over. But the truck, which had the partial plate GN19, did not stop and a pursuit began, continuing into Ospringe Street and then Faversham Road. After reaching Well Lane, the driver then allegedly reversed into the bike. The officer was not harmed during the incident and the truck left the scene.
