Celtic legend, Scott Brown, is set to stay at Ayr United after turning down the opportunity to manage St Johnstone this week. Brown was one of the names Saints owner, Adam Webb, was keen to hire to replace the departed Craig Levein. With Brown reportedly ‘keen’ to talk to the Scottish Premiership club, it did seem like the former Celtic hero’s next step in management could be about to happen.
