(The Center Square) – Hurricane Helene is now a tropical storm but will cause weather woes across the South on Friday, forecasters say. The storm made landfall in Florida’s Big Bend around 11:10 p.m. Thursday and quickly made its way into Georgia spawning tornadoes, wind and heavy rain.
