As the wet weather of the winter months is slowly making its return, volunteer flood wardens are being sought. Newark Town Council is currently seeking expressions of interest from members of the public who wish to become voluntary flood wardens. Working with Nottinghamshire County Council and the Environment Agency full training will be provided.
