Former President Donald Trump falsely accused President Joe Biden and North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper (D) of “going out of their way to not help people in Republican areas” in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. In a post to social media on Monday, Trump revealed he was heading to Georgia “in order to pay my respects” following the hurricane. He vowed to provide supplies to communities in need.
