An A-road has been closed following an accident. The A296 is blocked in both directions, close to Darent Valley Hospital with queueing traffic between the B2174 St James Lane (Darenth) and B255 Bean Lane (Bean) in Dartford. The Arriva 428 bus service for Darent Valley Hospital is currently being diverted as a result. There are no details yet about any injuries, but it is believed the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance has attended the scene. The police and ambulance service have been contacted for details.
