In its bid to address consumer extortion, disputes and other sharp practices, the Ogun State House of Assembly has passed the Consumer Protection bill, 2024. The bill is titled: “HB No. 013/OG/2021- A bill for a law to Establish the Ogun State Consumer Protection Agency, Provide for the Protection of the interest of Consumers, Settlement of Consumer Disputes and for Connected Purposes.
