TAMPA, Fla. \- Tampa Police have arrested Tyree Newsome, 26, in connection with the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man on September 23rd. The shooting occurred in the 1600 block of E. 24th Avenue just after 9 p.m. Officers arrived to find the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation involving witness interviews and surveillance footage led detectives to identify Newsome as the suspect.
