Fears are increasing that residents of a Kent district could soon be left with nowhere to swim amid pool closures and declining seawater quality. There is now a “real risk” that four out of the six bathing waters in Folkestone and Hythe could be designated as ‘poor’ in 2025, according to council bosses.
