A group of unknown assailants attacked a team working for the Italian public broadcaster Rai, eyewitnesses and Italian media reported on Tuesday. According to Italian media, an angry crowd approached their vehicle and threatened the team. The Lebanese driver suffered a heart attack and could not be saved despite resuscitation efforts. The incident took place while the team were filming in Jiyeh, 18 kilometres south of Beirut, where an Israeli strike took place two days ago.
