At least 21 people were injured in a Russian airstrike on the north-eastern Ukrainian city of Kharkiv on Tuesday, according to local authorities. Kharkiv’s Mayor Ihor Terekhov wrote on Telegram that 17 of the injured people are receiving treatment in hospital. Terekhov said the strikes hit the premises of a business in the city’s south-eastern industrial area several times, causing a fire. The area concerned is located some 30 kilometres from the Russian border. He said authorities are still investigating which type of weapon was used in the strike, with initial estimates pointing to missiles.
