The Nobel Prize in Chemistry is due to be announced on Wednesday, following the announcements earlier this week of the winners of the prizes for medicine and physics. The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences in Stockholm plans to announce the winner of the award at 11:45 am (0945 GMT) at the earliest.
