Tokyo stocks rose Thursday morning, lifted by overnight advances on Wall Street and a weaker yen boosting some export-related shares. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average rose 117.09 points, or 0.30 percent, from Wednesday to 39,395.05. The broader Topix index was up 5.84 points, or 0.22 percent, at 2,713.08.
