The presidential campaign of US Vice President Kamala Harris and related political committees have raised $1 billion since she became the Democratic Party’s nominee, reports Reuters. The agency reports that since Kamala Harris became a candidate for the presidency on July 21, replacing President Joe Biden, donations have surged to her campaign, as well as to affiliated action committees and the Democratic Party.
