The Israeli army called on the residents of further towns in southern Lebanon to evacuate and flee to the north in a post on X on Sunday. In a corresponding appeal in Arabic on X, an Arabic-language spokesman for the military, Avichay Adraee, named places near the Israeli border and slightly further north in Lebanon. “The activities of Hezbollah are forcing the Israeli army to take action against it,” the post said.
