England lost against Greece last week as Lee Carsley’s short audition for the full-time job appeared to come to a bit of a standstill. Carsley went with a very attacking England XI at Wembley but an inspired Greece side saw off the Three Lions and left plenty of question marks over Carsley’s future. Of course, the England manager is someone who can rarely win and Gareth Southgate came in for criticism for being too defensive during his own tenure. However, it was actually in defence where Carsley sprung a bit of a surprise. The England boss went with Levi Colwill alongside captain John Stones….
