Tony Romo made an unfortunate mistake during the CBS broadcast of Sunday’s Week 6 game between the Baltimore Ravens (4-2) and Washington Commanders (4-2). Romo, breaking down a first quarter play, accidentally referred to the Commanders as the Redskins, the name the team went by dating back to the 1930s and retired in July 2020. Broadcast partner Jim Nantz failed to correct Romo, who seconds later called them the Commanders.
