Israel’s attacks on UN peacekeeping troops in Lebanon (UNIFIL) are “completely unacceptable,” Josep Borrell, the European Union’s foreign policy, has said, echoing the strong condemnation voiced across the bloc in reaction to the latest developments in the Middle East.
