The United States has delivered the first components of a high-altitude anti-missile system to Israel, Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder said on Tuesday. The advanced air defence system is intended to help protect Israel from the possibility of Iranian aerial attacks amid fears the Middle East is on the brink of a full-blown regional war.
