Some of the first migrants to arrive in Italy’s offshore asylum processing centre in Albania have been allowed to travel on to Italy, the Italian authorities said on Thursday. After an initial assessment, the authorities decided that four of the 16 men from Egypt and Bangladesh were allowed to enter Italy, where they would have their asylum claims processed.
