PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. \- A Palm Harbor man is facing serious charges after hitting two road workers with his SUV and fleeing the scene. 68-year-old Charles Edward Kunath was driving southbound on Lake St. George Drive, north of Tampa Road, when he encountered a flooded and partially washed-out roadway. Despite construction barricades, vehicles, and workers signaling him to stop, Kunath drove around them, striking two Pinellas County workers.
