PASCO COUNTY, Fla. \- A 73-year-old man from New Port Richey was killed Friday night after being hit by a car while crossing State Road 54. The accident occurred east of Pecan Drive. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a 69-year-old woman, also from New Port Richey, was driving a Kia K5 westbound on SR-54 when the man walked into the path of her vehicle.
