Newcastle United got a taste of their own medicine on Saturday. Indeed, despite being much the better side, Newcastle were beaten in the Premier League for only the second time this season in their defeat to Brighton. Eddie Howe’s side were at their intense best for much of the opening period at St James’ Park but failed to score and came away with nothing. Ironically, it was the kind of result – from a Seagulls perspective – that Newcastle have been pulling off all season. While it should be noted they did improve after the break, few would doubt the south coast outfit were somewhat fortunate…
