We don’t typically talk about Metcalfe County in our weekly Scoreboard Rundowns, but we have to include the Hornets in today’s edition. Why? Because senior running back Byron Kirkland-Lundy found the end zone 10 times in Metcalfe County’s 70-44 win over Clinton County on Friday night. He ran the ball 24 times for 490 yards in the historic performance. The proof is on the tape, too. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound Kirkland-Lundy scored four times in the fourth quarter.
