Srinagar: Security forces launched a search operation on Wednesday morning in the Wanigam area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, according to reports. Following inputs of suspected militant activity in the area, the Indian Army and J&K Police cordoned off the area, securing key locations in and around Wanigam. A large number of troops are currently conducting thorough searches in the area.
