Police arrested a 63-year-old man on drugs offences after a long car chase led to a stinger being deployed. Officers were patrolling the Charing area of Ashford on Monday evening when a vehicle failed to stop when requested to do so. The VW Golf led police on a “long pursuit” but was eventually stopped in a neighbouring village.
