Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State on Saturday commended the peaceful conduct of the chairmanship and councillorship elections holding across the 44 local government areas in the state. Yusuf made the remark while speaking to journalists at the headquarters of the Kano State Independent Electoral Commission, KANSIEC, shortly after casting his vote at Gwale, his local government area.
