Li-S Energy Ltd (ASX:LIS) has seen its share price rise 25% on news it has substantially improved the performance of its lithium-sulfur battery technology, achieving almost 500 watt hours (Wh) per kilogram as indicative of lithium-sulfur cell performance. The company has manufactured full-size 10Ah semi-solid-state cells which deliver an energy density of 498Wh/kg on first discharge from its Phase 3 automated pouch cell production facility.
