A new opinion poll released on Tuesday found that Germany’s Greens have tumbled to their lowest level of support since 2017. The Forsa poll, conducted on behalf of the broadcaster RTL/ntv, put nationwide support for the Greens at just 9%, down two percentage points from the previous week. In the 2019 general election, the Greens won 14.7% of the vote. The 9% figure is the lowest the Greens have scored in the regular Forsa polls since the 2017 election.
