LSU guard Garrett Dellinger’s injury suffered Saturday in the first half at Texas A&M was a high-ankle sprain, coach Brian Kelly confirmed Tuesday. Kelly appeared optimistic that the Tigers’ veteran starter may be available to return soon with the benefit of this week’s open date on the schedule. “He had a high-ankle sprain, so we’re hoping that this week becomes a recovery week for him,” the coach said.
