Tokyo stocks opened slightly lower Thursday, with technology issues tracking declines by their U.S. counterparts. In the first 15 minutes of trading, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average fell 118.32 points, or 0.30 percent, from Wednesday to 39,159.07. The broader Topix index was down 9.83 points, or 0.36 percent, at 2,693.89. On the top-tier Prime Market, decliners were led by electric appliance, pulp and paper, and service issues.
