As Florida nears a decision on recreational marijuana legalization, cannabis company Trulieve has contributed another $1.5 million to the Smart & Safe Florida committee, the main group backing the measure. According to a finance report filed Thursday, Trulieve’s total cash and in-kind contributions to the committee now amount to nearly $144.6 million.
