The Non-Academic Staff Union, NASU, of educational and associated institutions and the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, SSANU, have suspended their nationwide indefinite strike. NASU and SSANU had declared a nationwide strike for a month over withheld salaries. In a joint statement on Sunday, the bodies said the suspended strike would take effect on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
