At least two people were killed in an Israeli strike on an area south of the capital Damascus late on Monday, according to the Syrian Observatory from Human Rights, a monitor. Its head, Rami Abdel Rahman, told dpa two members of the Lebanese shiite Hezbollah movement were killed and five others were seriously injured, as a result of Israeli strikes on a farm in the Sayyida Zeinab area in the Damascus countryside. The strike was one of three on the Damascus countryside governorate.
