The Mark Pope era of Kentucky men’s basketball got off to a terrific start. On Monday night in Rupp Arena, No. 23 Kentucky (1-0) opened the 2024-25 season with a no-nonsense win, boat-racing the Wright State Raiders from start to finish to the tune of a 103-62 final score.
