The North London club will now have to begin their search for a new sporting director, after Edu Gaspar turned his back on Arsenal in a surprise move yesterday. The Brazilian had been at the club since the summer of 2019, and worked closely with Mikel Arteta to make Arsenal truly competitive once again.
