In one of the few competitive games across the state on Friday night, the North Laurel Jaguars (5-6) went on the road and picked up a 20-17 overtime win over the Montgomery County Indians (5-5) in the first round of the high school football class 5A playoffs. After holding the Indians to a field goal on their opening possession of overtime thanks to a Brody Pruitt sack on third down, Jude McWhorter connected with Carter Kelley on third-and-goal to give the Jaguars a walk-off victory.
