A tropical disturbance located near the Bahamas has weakened significantly over the past 24 hours. The disorganized system is expected to dissipate as it encounters less favorable environmental conditions. While the system is not anticipated to develop into a tropical cyclone, it may still bring locally heavy rainfall and gusty winds to the Bahamas in the coming days.
