Six-time track cycling champion Michael Hübner has died at the age of 65, the German Cycling Federation said on Tuesday, citing his close environment. Hübner won two world championships in sprint, three in keirin and one team sprint between 1990 and 1995. Although he never participated in the Olympic Games, the sprinter was one of the most successful track racers in the world in the 1990s. Hübner ended his career in 1997.
