Following attacks by the new terrorist group Lakurawa, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, has deployed troops to Augie LGA in Kebbi State. The deployment followed an urgent appeal by Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State, requesting federal support to curb the group’s violent activities.
