Germany’s Council of Economic Experts expects very little growth in the economy next year after the predicted dip of 2024. The advisory body, colloquially known in Germany as the “wise men,” has significantly lowered their forecast and predict gross domestic product (GDP) next year to grow by 0.4%. “The persistently weak growth suggests that the German economy is being held back by both cyclical and structural problems,” a statement said on Wednesday.
